Round 2! Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County is rehabbing a second home on South Main Street in the Borough of Chambersburg. This is our 5th rehab and tasks include demo work, new windows, kitchen remodeling, bathroom plumbing, lots of painting and more. Habitat is working in the Tuscarora Area! We are rehabbing a home on Punchbowl Rd in Mercersburg for the Seville family...6 members strong. Tasks include a new roof, some plumbing, HVAC work, window replacement, and a lot of cosmetic touches. Contact our office and watch our Twitter feeds for upcoming volunteer days. Project Photos |

House number 30 is actively being constructed after months of unforeseen delays. In May the previous home was torn down making way for new construction. In June the Franklin County Builders Association blitz built the walls and roof. Regular volunteer days are taking place as we aim for a November completion. Project Photos |

Donated to Habitat by the New Franklin Ruritan Club this is our second rehab project. Due to quick permitting and available resources this home has been remodeled quickly. We’ve added a second bathroom and an additional bedroom. Finishing touches still remain. Our targeted completion date is sometime in October. Project Photos |

Excellent progress has been made on this partnership project. We’re teamed up with the Cumberland Valley affiliate building a duplex together. Each Habitat affiliate will have a home for a partner family when finished. Volvo in Shippensburg has been volunteering regularly. Holly Court is easy to find – just 1 mile past the Giant grocery store in Southampton Township. We're aiming for a June completion date and dedication service. Project Photos |

This, our first rehab project, has come along nicely. Exterior work is ready to be buttoned up before the cold weather moves in. The home was originally a log cabin structure that survived the burning of Chambersburg in the mid 1800’s. We’ve super-insulated it, added a second bathroom and planned a complete remodel of the interior. Our targeted completion date is sometime in November. Project Photos |
